My Backyard bird feeders There weren't any robins that decided to build a nest in our yard this Spring so I put my new webcam on the finch feeders. There are almost always house and gold finches out there. along with chickadees. There are a couple of other small feeders near that I keep filled with safflower seed that Cardinals and bluejays seem to enjoy. Birds that visited my backyard feeder 2008-2009

From about October through April, I turn the webcam toward my bird feeders. I keep a log of the birds that visit (see below). Once again, this is a suburban area and we see a limited number of species here. Watching the birds does help ease my cabin fever, though. |
